The idea for ammamma’s emerged from a mother's desire to provide healthy, travel-friendly meals for her daughter, who played lawn tennis across India and internationally. Seeing a gap in the market for convenient, authentic Indian meals, she decided to turn her passion into a business.
ammamma's was established by Prathima Viswanath and Naga Sai Viswanath, under the legal name Mangamma Foods Private Limited.
Starting in a small 600 sq ft space with just 3 employees in Hyderabad, ammamma's quickly gained traction. We began by distributing our signature Whole Wheat Chapatis in Hyderabad's gated communities and hotels.
We are committed to providing healthy, convenient, and authentically flavored ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat Indian meals.
We believe in using quality ingredients and traditional recipes, ensuring every meal tastes like it's made at home.
